Deplorable Inner City Conditions

The general conditions, of most areas of Conakry, were quite deplorable.  Waste and refuse randomly piled up everywhere, shacks constructed of scrap materials strategically positioned, and people seeking opportunity wondering about, this was a very common sight in Conakry.  You would often see kids picking through piles of trash, perhaps looking for something to salvage and maybe sell.   Really was sad to see.
